In conjunction with a tracking solutions company, Biocair have developed a real-time solution for monitoring the temperature in the goods area of their vehicles; no matter where they are in the world.
An in-fleet tracking system combined with RFID technology enables temperature information to be sent wirelessly to Biocair in real time. Temperature range triggers are used to provide alerting when thresholds are breached.
Clients are provided with historical reports showing the temperature of goods for every minute of the journey.
The next development for Biocair will be to provide clients with a live data feed of the temperature of their goods in transit, in real time using web services.
